Botswana

The incredible continent of Africa, the place where I am fortunate enough to say I was raised. There aren’t enough words in my vocabulary to fully express just how incredibly beautiful the continent of Africa and the country of Botswana is and just how much they mean to me.

The diversity of the animals that call this place home, against the backdrop of one of the most beautiful natural landscapes in the world, almost brought me to tears many, many times as we drove along the Chobe River at sunset and dawn experiencing it all. It’s true what they say, “there is no sunset, like an African sunset”.

Born in Galway, Ireland, but raised all over the world thanks to the incredible work that my parents have done with the United Nations and many other NGOs. I want to capture the true beauty of the world and the good people of it that strive to make it a better place for all of us. I believe that only through education and awareness can we really appreciate each other and the world around us. I believe that photography is the right medium to achieve this.
